The Allen & Heath SQ-5 is a compact digital mixing console designed for professional live sound, touring, installation and corporate applications. Built on Allen & Heath’s 96kHz XCVI processing engine, the SQ-5 delivers high-resolution audio with low latency and reliable performance in demanding environments.
The console provides 48 input channels and 36 buses, offering extensive routing flexibility for Front of House, monitor and multi-zone mixing. Onboard connectivity includes 16 microphone/line inputs and 12 balanced XLR outputs, allowing the SQ-5 to operate as a standalone mixer or as part of a larger digital audio system.
Expandable via Allen & Heath’s SLink port, the SQ-5 supports remote stage boxes and digital audio protocols, making it suitable for scalable system configurations. Its compact form factor, combined with a responsive touchscreen and physical control surface, makes the SQ-5 well suited to professional live production and installed sound applications.
