BSS Audio Opal DPR-944 — 2+2 Parametric Compressor

About this product
A dual-channel parametric compressor and limiter from BSS's highly respected Opal outboard series. Used on touring productions, broadcast installs and studio recordings for decades — a trusted piece of professional signal processing for any serious live sound setup.
Two independent compressor channels linkable as a stereo pair. Fully parametric controls including threshold, ratio (2:1 to hard limiting), attack, release and gain make-up, alongside programme-dependent auto-release. Frequency-selective side-chain input allows de-essing and frequency-sensitive dynamic processing. Output meters display gain reduction clearly during use. XLR balanced I/O throughout. Available as a standalone outboard unit or as part of a complete live sound outboard package.
