Powered by the robust Yanmar L100V Overhead Valve diesel engine, the SSG6000D delivers 6kVA (4.8kW) of continuous power through a brushless smooth waveform NSM alternator — clean, stable output safe for use with sensitive audio, lighting and AV equipment. Noise rated at 66 dB(A) at 7 metres — significantly quieter than an open-frame equivalent, making perimeter siting at a live event genuinely practical without creating a noise floor problem. Dual voltage output provides both 230V and 115V from a single unit — 32A and 16A sockets on both voltages for maximum flexibility across mixed equipment loads. 24-litre fuel tank provides substantial run time at typical event load levels.
