The low-frequency partner to the Turbosound IQ15 — an 18-inch active subwoofer that gives a self-contained PA or DJ booth setup genuine weight and impact. The Turbosound IQ18 is available for active subwoofer hire across Northamptonshire, the East Midlands and the wider UK through Northants Event Solutions, and is most commonly hired alongside our IQ15 active full-range speaker hire for a complete self-powered system.
A single high-excursion 18" driver with a 4" voice coil and double suspension is powered by 3,000W of Klark Teknik Class D amplification with full onboard DSP — variable crossover frequency adjustment, phase alignment controls and a built-in high-pass output filter to automatically condition the signal sent to connected satellite speakers. No separate amplifier or DSP processor required, making it the practical choice for DJ events, club nights, live music and corporate functions where a compact, fast-deploying powered system is the priority. ULTRANET digital audio networking connects directly to compatible Behringer and Midas consoles for a digital signal path from desk to speaker. Dual XLR inputs and XLR link outputs for signal chaining and satellite speaker connection. 35mm pole mount on the top panel for mounting IQ15 or similar full-range speakers directly above the sub. Plated steel castors with rubber tyres for easy positioning. Mains in and link via Neutrik powerCON connectors. Cardioid sub configuration possible when deploying multiple IQ18 units — reduces rear-firing low-frequency energy on stage. Designed and engineered in England.
