A purpose-designed 12-inch active floor wedge monitor built from the ground up for on-stage foldback — not a PA speaker repurposed as a monitor. The Turbosound TFX122M-AN is available for stage monitor hire across Northamptonshire, the East Midlands and the wider UK through Northants Event Solutions, and is the dedicated floor wedge option in our monitor inventory for live music productions and touring shows.
The TFX122M-AN combines a carbon fibre loaded 12" neodymium motor LF driver with a 1.4" titanium dome neodymium compression driver in a low-profile wedge enclosure, powered by 2,500W of Klark Teknik Class D amplification with onboard DSP. The rotatable low-distortion waveguide provides 60° horizontal × 40° vertical dispersion — rotatable to suit horizontal or vertical wedge orientation — directing sound accurately into the performer's monitoring position without spilling into the main PA or causing feedback. Onboard DSP includes dedicated monitor EQ presets, high and low shelving EQ, two parametric bands, 0–300ms delay for time alignment, and a zero-attack input limiter for driver protection at high output. 20 presets with 19 user-definable slots for repeat show configurations. ULTRANET digital audio networking (2 × RJ45) connects to compatible Behringer and Midas consoles for digital monitor feeds. Combo XLR/jack input with XLR link output for daisy-chaining multiple monitors from a single monitor send. 15mm plywood enclosure with fibreglass reinforced composite end cheeks and semi-matt black paint finish.
