About this product

Not every event needs a full digital console — and for those that don't, the Yamaha MG12XU delivers exactly what's needed. A clear, reliable 12-channel analogue mixer with built-in digital effects and USB audio interface, ideal for corporate events, presentations, small live music performances, rehearsals, speeches and any application where simplicity and fast setup count. Available for analogue mixer hire across Northamptonshire, the East Midlands and the wider UK through Northants Event Solutions.

The MG12XU provides 4 mono XLR/TRS combo inputs and 2 additional mono XLR inputs — 6 mic inputs in total — all running through Yamaha's discrete Class-A D-PRE preamps with inverted Darlington circuit for clean, detailed audio. 1-knob compressor on channels 1–4 for effortless dynamic control without needing outboard. 3-band EQ per mono channel. 80Hz high-pass filter on all mic inputs. Yamaha SPX digital effects processor with 24 programmes covering reverb, delay and modulation — no additional outboard required for presentations or small performances. 2-in/2-out USB audio interface (up to 192kHz, 24-bit) for direct laptop connection for recording or playback. Phantom power (+48V) switchable on all XLR inputs for condenser microphone support. 2 group buses and 2 aux sends. Compact and lightweight at 4.2kg — fast to set up and pack away. Includes Cubase AI DAW software download access. Available as a standalone hire or as part of a wider event production package from our team.
