The larger sibling of the DBR12 — a 15-inch bi-amplified active monitor offering greater low-frequency extension and higher maximum SPL from a self-contained, portable enclosure. When stage volume requirements are higher, the venue is larger or performers need more bass energy in their foldback mix, the Yamaha DBR15 delivers the extra headroom without complicating the setup. The DBR15 shares the identical feature set and DSP architecture as the DBR12 — custom Yamaha transducers, D-CONTOUR dynamic DSP processing, FIR-X tuning, multiband dynamic processor, 90° × 60° constant directivity horn, built-in 2-channel mixer and dual combo XLR/TRS plus RCA inputs — but in a 15-inch format delivering 132dB maximum SPL and deeper low-frequency extension to 50Hz (–10dB). The 15" cone provides significantly more surface area than the 12" driver, translating directly to greater bass output and body in the monitoring mix — particularly noticeable for bass players, drummers and DJs monitoring bass-heavy music on stage. 1,000W total Class D bi-amplified output. XLR thru/mix output for signal extension to additional speakers. 50° wedge angle with symmetrical enclosure design for mirror-mode floor monitoring when deploying a matched pair. 3 × M8 rigging points for optional fly mounting.
